Meditation
Room
A new place to find peace and quiet has been prepared in what was known
as the tower room. It is available during the day and accessed through
the double doors east of the Fireside Room. If you want to use it, please
come to the office and request entrance. Someone will be happy to accompany
you there. Please observe the guidelines posted on the back of the door.
Place the "In Use" sign in its proper place on the outside
door. For questions or a "tour", please call or visit the church office.
Labyrinth
The
Labyrinth is an ancient walking meditation tool. Our permanent Labyrinth laid in our social hall floor is a replica of the Chartres Labyrinth laid in the floor of
the cathedral around 1220 CE. Walking the Labyrinth provides a contemplative
time for prayer and meditation and all are invited to participate.
2010 Schedule:
The Labyrinth is on hiatus for the Summer. However, it is available for walking when other events aren't taking
place in the Hall. Just call ahead to inquire.
And the Labyrinth is open on occassion following our Thursday evening PAUSE Worship Gatherings. To confirm a specific date, please call the church office.
