Family Connection

not that old, not that young? Then this could be the group for you.
Joinn us for fun family events, backyard barbecues and cocktail
parties, guest speakers and discussion, cross country ski weekends

Holy
Rollers Softball Team The
Holy Rollers, FUMC’s adult coed softball team (must be 18
to play), play in the local league on Sunday afternoons at Memorial
Park. The team’s philosophy is to play their best, show good
sportsmanship, and enjoy fun and fellowship. New players are always
welcome whatever their experience level. The team includes both
regulars and those who can play only the occasional game. You may
find the schedule and contact information on the Holy
Rollers website. Regulars on the current roster include Tom
Charchut, Kim Defenderfer, Carol Fan, Kendra Gorlitsky, Janeen Guinn,

A
Book-of-the-Month Discussion Series
Join Senior Minister, Rev. Patricia Farris, for serious study
and reflection in this discussion series on contemporary and challenging
theological writing. No sign up is necessary. Just pick up the book
(available in local bookstores, libraries, and online), read it
prior to the discussion, and come with questions. The books
are chosen because they are thought provoking, controversial, and

Meets on Sundays at 9 am (8:45 am during the summer months) in Room
101 for programs, study and fellowship.
Men's
Bible Study/Breakfast Group
Regular weekly meetings of the Men's Tuesday Morning Breakfast Group
are held at 7:00 am each Tuesday in the Fireside Room. All
men in the church are welcome to this one-hour gathering which includes
a simple breakfast, personal conversation, brief study of the lectionary
Bible passages for the week and shared prayer. No advance sign-up
is needed.
Shareringers
(adults with children in college or older):
Meets
the second Sunday of the month at 9 am in Room 203, and third Thursday
of the month at 7:00 pm at member's homes.
Social Concerns Seminars
FUMC's Social
Concerns Council sponsors a quarterly series of discussion seminars
in which important social and public issues are examined. The format
is a forum allowing all side of controversial questions to be heard,
in a spirit of mutual respect and Christian fellowship.
United
Methodist Women
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community
of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom
as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive
fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation
